Loyalist College has handed out some big awards.
College president, Maureen Piercy, says she’s very proud of college alumni, and was pleased to present an Alumni Distinction Award to three people, including Debbie Baxter.
Baxter is employed as the chief sustainability officer for a company called Loyalty One. She spearheads a range of “green” initiatives for businesses in her role.
Baxter was one of three individuals to be recognized at the annual general meeting of the Alumni Association.
The college also recognized two business recipients with a new award given out to companies that support Loyalist by hiring its graduates.
