We’re a little light on snowfall so far this winter.
For the months of November, December and January we’ve received a total of 72.5 centimetres
of snow in the Quinte region, according to readings taken at CFB Trenton.
Over the years, the usual amount of snow for those 3 months in our area is quite a bit more, totaling 92 cm.
Meanwhile, we’ve received more rain than is usual over the 3 months.
In November, December, and January 206 millimetres of rain fell.
The normal amount is just over 170 mm.
