Quinte Conservation, Quinte Field Naturalists, City of Belleville, LCBO and Tree Canada are offering a community tree planting event on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10am (until all trees are planted) in Cascades Park, at 33 Tracey Park Drive, Belleville.
Parking is located along Cascade Blvd.
This free tree planting event is open to members of the public to participate.
Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Saturday, September 20 is TD Tree Days. While most of the volunteer planting spots are for TD employees, there are a few community volunteer openings.

Native trees are suited to our climate and weather conditions. They clean our air, absorb carbon, and slow climate change they provide food and shelter for wildlife and slow erosion while contributing to cleaner water, greener communities, and healthier people.
Planting native trees helps to bring nature back into our developed landscapes.
Volunteers are reminded to dress appropriately for the weather and bring water.
Please bring:
- Personal Supply of Water & Food (lunch & snacks)
- Mandatory Closed Toed Footwear (steel toed preferred)
- Hat
- Sunscreen & Bug Spray
- Gloves
- Shovels & Hand Spades (if able)
