Learn about your options, including information on available subsidies by attending a free landowner workshop in Trenton or Madoc.
The workshop in Madoc is on Wednesday November 26 at the Center Hastings Municipal Hall at 11379 Hwy 62 in Ivanhoe. It runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Trenton’s is at the Knights of Columbus on 57 Stella Crescent. It runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday November 27.

This workshop will offer information on forest management and stewardship, tree planting subsidies and other financial incentives for establishing and managing your forests.
Presentations by forestry experts will include a variety of topics, such as:
50 Million Tree Program
Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program
Windbreaks for working farms
Tools for managing your new trees
Invasive species
Shoreline planting for improved water quality
Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited and pre-registration is encouraged.
