Quinte West City Council approved the Fall 2020 leaf and yard waste collection schedule for all wards.
New this year, the collection will be performed by the City’s waste services contractor e360 solutions.
There will be curbside collection in Murray and Sidney wards for the first time.
Collection dates for each ward are as follows:
Trenton Ward
West-side of River – Monday, Oct. 26, 2020, & Monday, Nov. 16, 2020
East-side of River – Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, & Monday, Nov. 23, 2020
Frankford Ward
Monday, Nov. 9, 2020
Murray Ward *NEW this year*
Monday, Nov. 30, 2020
Sidney Ward *NEW this year*
Monday, Nov. 30, 2020
Leaf and yard waste does not require a bag tag for collection but must be in compostable paper yard waste bags and be curbside by 7 a.m. on your ward-specific collection day. Brush and branches will not be collected curbside.
“The City is pleased to offer this service to all residents,” says Mayor Jim Harrison. “For several years, rural residents have expressed a desire for curbside collection of leaf and yard waste, and we are pleased to have found an affordable solution for all residents in Quinte West.”
Yard waste disposal is available year-round at the following locations:
Frankford Landfill at 1850 Fish & Game Club Rd., Frankford (FREE)
Mondays & Wednesdays 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturdays 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Waste Management Transfer Station at 26 Chester Rd., Trenton ($1 per bag, NO cash/cheque)
Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturdays 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
