A nearly 60 year old temperature record was smashed yesterday by over a full degree.
Thermometers at CFB Trenton recorded a high of 8.6 degrees celsius.
The previous high temperature record was 7.2 degrees, set in 1965.
Environment Canada predicts warm temperatures will continue into the coming week.
