Quinte Field Naturalists welcome a Brighton biologist to their March meeting
Andrea Kingsley has lived and worked across Canada and Ontario giving her a strong knowledge of birds and their songs from many habitats and from many areas of the country.

She has a strong background in biology and natural history interpretation through environmental consultant jobs, teaching, research, and volunteer positions. Andrea has an MSc in biology, which involved studying the effects of uniform shelterwood logging on the birds of Algonquin Provincial Park, where she was also a park naturalist.
Kingsley is also an artist and photographer.
Her illustrations are featured in several publications, including a comprehensive dragonfly identification guide of Algonquin Provincial Park, the first of its kind at the time in Canada.
She is also happy to take people out on private guided walks.
