Quinte Field Naturalists’ April meeting will focus on how limestone has uniquely shaped the biodiversity of the Quinte region.
Limestone rock and landform are a familiar sight across the Quinte region.
Robert Ormston will be speak about how limestone surface geology shapes landscapes through its specific topography, chemistry, and hydrology, to create a variety of weird and wonderful ecosystems…some which are rarely found outside the Quinte region.
The presentation will be held April 20 at 7 p.m. at Maranatha Church, 100 College Street West, Belleville.
