Just in time for Earth Day, the Quinte Trash Bash is back Saturday April 20.
Residents of Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County and Tyendinaga Township are encouraged to pick up trash from roadsides, parks and other public spaces in a community clean-up on Saturday, April 20.
Free trash drop-off stations will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Pre-registration is encouraged.
You can sign up as an individual, family, team, or organization.
Supply kits including bags and gloves are available.

Participating communities picked up 11.33 tonnes of trash during the 2023 Trash Bash.
In addition to the Trash Bash, Giveaway Days are being held in Belleville, Quinte West and Prince Edward County.
Residents are invited to place gently used household items that are no longer wanted to the curb for pick-up for other residents to take and give new life to.
Items could include furniture, electronics, tools, small appliances, construction materials and more.
Belleville’s Giveaway Days and Prince Edward County’s Large Item Swap Days will be held both Saturday (April 20) and Sunday (April 21).
The Quinte West Giveaway Day is Saturday only.

Also on Saturday in Tyendinaga Township, there will be a Quinte Waste Solutions Mobile Hazardous and Electronic Waste Collection Event from 9:00am to 2:00pm at 859 Melrose Rd.
Earth Day is Monday, April 22.
