Quinte West council has approved the chosen award winners for the 2026 Environmental Stewardship Awards.
Council gave their final approval for the chosen winners during their Wednesday meeting.
The motion before council nominated NOD Apiary for the business category, Lucie Renaud for the individual category, and both the Rotary Club of Quinte Sunrise and Buy Nothing Quinte West for the organization category.
The nominated winners were approved without debate. They will be recognized during a tree planting event on June 5th, which is also World Environment Day.
