The Quinte Field Naturalists are hosting the third in their series of Tree Appreciation and Knowledge Walks this Saturday.
Stephen Poole will be offering a tour of his two acre property (at 123 Hamilton Road, Belleville) on which he has planted over 50 different species of trees.
With over 40 years experience in the garden center business, Stephen will share his love of plants – trees specifically.
He’ll discuss micro-climates, soil types, weather patterns and more.
You can also test your plant identification skills.
The event (Saturday June 20th at 9 am) is free and open to everyone.
